1-Year-Old Boy Stabbed Outside Philadelphia Synagogue: What We Know

A 1-year-old baby was stabbed outside of a synagogue in Philadelphia Saturday, April 13, police said.

According to Philadelphia police, the boy was stabbed in the left forearm outside of 300 South 18th Street just after 12 p.m. In a statement to 6abc, Temple Beth Zion-Beth Israel (BZBI) synagogue said the incident was not an anti-Semitic attack.

The baby was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia by PFD-Medic Unit and is in stable condition. No weapon was found, no arrests were made, and there was no scene.
